The Dabbling Duck runs an excellent programme of entertainment and events including quiz nights, live music and our annual Traditional Beer Festival.
Event notice for Saturday 14th April
We are hosting a large wedding reception on Saturday 14th April.
The bar will be open at lunchtime but there will be no food available. At 3pm the pub will be closed until the following morning for the wedding party's sole use. Sunday bar service and Sunday lunchtime will be service as usual. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause to other customers but we want to do our best for this couple and their family.
Mother's Day at The Dabbling Duck
Mothers Day is on Sunday 18th March; fathers, sons and daughters - we have warned you!
We will be offering our usual Sunday lunch with some lighter options for mothers and grand mothers which they may need after enjoying a glass of Sparkling Prosecco and hand made chocolates on us (providing they can prove they are over 16 and tell us where they heard about our offer!)

Quiz Night - Monday 5th March - Postponed to Monday 12th march
Originally arranged for Monday 5th March, our next quiz has been postponed to the 12th March due to the lack of a quizmaster. We offer our sincere apologies to anyone we unintentionally mislead, and for any inconvenience caused.
For those who missed our quiz in February and for those who came along and enjoyed the evening, our next quiz is Monday 12th March. We had over 70 contestants at the February quiz and next month there is a new prize category for those wishing to take supper and play the quiz.
This is a very competitive and fun evening.
